THE PAST

Our wood oven was built with local volcanic stones left on the island of Therasia, just 10 minutes away from bustling Santorini, after the enormous explosion of the volcano in 1613 B.C. Every morning, we light our wood oven with touchwood from dry branches of our local wine plants, following the same way of lighting that the local island inhabitants used, almost four millenniums ago.

As soon as the fire in the wood oven is weakening, we bake our homemade bread, pies, and traditional Aegean food. Your delicious, tasty journey has just started!
